The above represents the course of study to graduate in a 2 year program. 1st and 2nd year courses will be taught concurrently allowing the student to take classes at a pace that is better suited to their schedule. Some classes would best be taken with either prerequisite classes or supportive personal ministry experience. 

 

Classes will be offered on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. A limited day schedule will also be offered. The specific day and time will be made available on the Current Semester page, where you can also register.

Tuition fees are based on what the student is able to afford. We have set up free will offering so all will be able to receive instruction in God's Word.

 Biblical Counseling (BC)

BC301 Introduction to Biblical Counseling (2)  

A primer on directed discipleship. This course covers foundational principles in ministering to individuals, married couples and families that are suffering in a variety of areas. The student will go through a Scripture intensive study of God's provision for a life that is abundant in Him.


 Church History (CH)

CH301 Church History (2)  

A fascinating journey through the development of the church from the Apostolic church through today with a look at the trends for the future. The student will navigate the development of the Canon of Scripture, the battle against heresies and the various major church movements.

   Christian Life and Discipleship (CL)  

CL301 Christian Living (2)  

This course is a broad overview of the various aspects of how a Christian ought to live. Topics covered will be prayer and fasting, growing in grace, marriage and relationships, worship, evangelism, ministry, study of the Word and other issues related to the daily walk of Christians.

 


 Christian Ministry (CM)

CM199 Practical Christian Ministry (1) X 4  

Students are required to be actively involved in ministry at their home church and/or at the Bible College. This will be monitored by the administration. This allows the Word to be actively worked out in your heart.


 Ethics (ET)

ET301 Christian Ethics (2)  

This course is a survey of the current ethical issues as they relate to our defense of the Word of God. Topics include emerging technologies in Human Genetics, Artificial Intelligence and Stem Cell Research. Other topics include Procreation vs. Reproduction, Abortion, Suicide and Euthanasia, ethical challenges of Biotechnology and Health Care. Current issues such as the ethics of war, freedom of speech and business operations will also be discussed.

 

 Language Studies (LA)

LA331 Old Testament Hebrew  (2)  

The student will be given a primer in the structure of the Hebrew language. Equipping in using various language tools will be covered. Correlation with the Septuagint will also be discussed.

LA351 New Testament Greek (2)  

This course is designed to equip the student to use the language tools available for properly translating and interpreting the Greek New Testament. Emphasis will be on the basics of grammar and syntax.

MI101 Mission Trip

MI307 Preparing for Missions (2)

This course will cover the Biblical background for the doctrine of missions. The student will also develop a prayer life that includes praying for missionaries and the lost. A "how to" for missions trip (long and short term) preparation will be outlined as well as an understanding of the cultural implications and how to prepare and approach the diversity of folk encountered on the mission field. 

 

 New Testament (NT)

NT303 New Testament Survey I (Matt - John) (2)  

C2000 Pastor Chuck Bible Study. Students will listen to and journal on 4-5 studies per week.

NT304 New Testament Survey II (Acts - Eph) (2)  

C2000 Pastor Chuck Bible Study. Students will listen to and journal on 4-5 studies per week.

NT305 New Testament Survey III (Phil - Rev) (2)  

C2000 Pastor Chuck Bible Study. Students will listen to and journal on 4-5 studies per week.

NT354 John (3)  

Survey of the theological impact of the Gospel of John. Students will study the Gospel by an in-depth look at the Person and Work of Jesus Christ through John's portrayal of Him in His deity as the Son of God.

NT355 Acts (3)  

A verse by verse study of the Book of Acts. Uncovering the Person and work of the Holy Spirit in regard to baptism, infilling and being led by Him. The formation and qualities of the early church will be focused on as well as Paul's' techniques in reaching both Jew and Gentile. The student will also note the correlation between the chronology of the missionary journeys and his epistles to churches and individuals.

NT356 Romans (3)  

This course studies the theological study of the book of Romans, a book long regarded as the most systematic presentation of doctrine in the Bible. Students will look carefully at how the saving life of Christ, through the work of the Holy Spirit, can transform lives.

NT369 Hebrews (3)  

A study thorough the Book Of Hebrews looking into Christ's' Kingship, Priesthood and fulfillment of all things. This epistle is packed with typology that will be pursued and discussed. An emphasis in this course will be given on the comparison between the New and Old covenants. The student will discover the deeper relationship available with God through Jesus Christ our Mediator.

NT377 Revelation (3)  

This course will be a verse-by-verse study through the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The course will be studied from a pre-millennial, pre-tribulational point of view. Other approaches will be discussed to allow the student to best understand their eschatological position. Emphasis will be on the sequence of prophetic events and the consummation of this age.

NT379 The Synoptics (2)  

A study of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. The student will be instructed in the backgrounds of the authors, the settings and the literary style of each Gospel. Critical background as to the historicity and relationship of the Gospels to one another. A journey through the Harmony of the Synoptics will also be provided.

NT385 Harmony of the Gospels (2)

A chronological look at the life of Jesus through the Synoptics and the Gospel of John. Attention will be given to address any seeming inconsistencies and equip the student to have confidence in defending and proclaiming the gospel message.

NT386 Pauline Epistles (2)  

This course will focus upon the letters that were written by Paul. These letters were written to individuals and churches experiencing different challenges that the student can apply to their personal walk. Historical, thematic and primary doctrine will be covered in this fascinating tour of God's teaching through Paul.

NT389 General Epistles (2)  

A study of the non-Pauline letters. All address area of heresy within the church, practical teaching on the walk of the believer and detailed discussion in critical doctrinal areas. Historical background and authorship will be covered.

NT391 I, II, III John (2)

These epistles give distinct doctrine in regard to our position in the Lord and the assurance of our salvation. The student will be warned of those that would intend to turn us away from those truths. 

NT392 Philippians/Colossians (2)

Paul wrote these two letters to expound on the awesome wonder of God's plan and to exhort the churches to respond to our Lord based upon that firm foundation. The student will discover these truths in the expositional study of the text.

NT399 I, II Peter (2)

This course will be a verse-by-verse study through the two Epistles of Peter. Students will study the historical context of the books, gain a working knowledge of both of the epistles and understand how they apply to us today.

NT407 Galatians/Ephesians (2)

The Law and Grace. How should we live? In these Epistles we see contrasting lifestyles and the direction we should take through a verse by verse study of these benchmark letters.

NT409 Pastoral Epistles (2)

This course constitutes a verse by verse journey through the letters of 1st & 2nd Timothy and Titus. The particular emphases will be on the make-up and qualifications of church leadership and the deception to be on guard for. This class will be of particular interest to those that are called the pastorate or other leadership callings. These letters will serve as a solid outline to God's view of the character and walk of the Godly man or women in Christ.

 

 Old Testament (OT)

OT303 Old Testament Survey I (Gen - I Sam) (2)  

C2000 Pastor Chuck Bible Study. Students will listen to and journal on 4-5 studies per week.

OT304 Old Testament Survey II (2 Sam - Ecc) (2)  

C2000 Pastor Chuck Bible Study. Students will listen to and journal on 4-5 studies per week.

OT305 Old Testament Survey III (Song - Mal) (2)

C2000 Pastor Chuck Bible Study. Students will listen to and journal on 4-5 studies per week.

OT310 Genesis (3)  

A survey study of the book of beginnings. Detailed analysis of Creation, the Fall, the Flood and God's covenant with Abraham through Jacob ending with the life of Joseph.

OT332 Isaiah (3)

A verse by verse study of the remarkable prophecies of God spoken through the prophet Isaiah. Particular attention will be given to the correlations between OT and NT fulfillment.

OT336 Daniel (3)

This course is a verse-by-verse study through the book of Daniel. Students will explore the historical context, the prophesies that have been fulfilled, as well as those yet to be fulfilled. Consideration will also be given to the life of Daniel and his example for all believers.

OT352 The Pentateuch (2)  

A study of the first five books of the Bible. The student will be oriented with the chronology of the text, the primary themes of each book and their relationship to New Testament doctrine. The major covenants introduced will be discussed and the typology of Christ will be studied.

OT358 Major Prophets (2)  

This course will give an overview of the five prophetic books classified as the "Major Prophets" : Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel and Daniel. Consideration will be given to time and place and the historical interaction. A study of the prophetic elements and their harmony with one another. Particular emphasis upon the the "Time of Jacobs Trouble" and the millennium will be provided. Historical fulfillment of prophecy will also be covered.

OT359 Minor Prophets (2)

OT368 Christ in Prophecy (2)

This course is designed to unveil to students that Christ is the subject and goal of all prophecy. It will help familiarize the student to better understand all that the prophets have written of Jesus and His 1st and 2nd comings. The student will study the incredible aspects of the fulfilled and yet to be fulfilled prophecies. 

 

 Preaching and Teaching (PT)

PT301 Introduction to Preaching and Teaching (2)  

A concise understanding of expositional and topical teaching. The methods will cover small group discussions to more formal teaching forums. The student will learn to convey the Word in plain sense and to yield to the Holy Spirit in study and execution.  

 

 Theology (TH)

TH303 Systematic Theology (3)

A organized and systematic approach to essential doctrines and the Truth that forms our belief in the whole of the Word of God. The student will be taught the the character and nature of the God head, the doctrines of salvation, angels, man, the church, the Word and future things. Concisely, a study of the doctrine of God and the relations that God sustains to the universe.

TH311 History of Redemption (2)  

A study of the redemptive plan of God from Genesis to Revelation. His purpose is written on every page. The student will discover the consistencies of the Covenants, the Feasts and Festivals, His relationship with Israel and the culmination of the New Covenant to its completion, "It is done", in Revelation.

TH315 Chronology of Biblical Revelation (2)  

A chronological perspective of the Old and New Testaments. The student will discover the relationship between the kings of Judah and Israel with the prophets and the letters within the historical framework of the book of Acts. This will give an understanding of the climate of the times that the Word of God was given.

TH363 Apologetics, Logic and Reason, Cults (3)

This course will equip the student in the defense of the faith and the communication of our faith to a fallen world. The Person of Christ, Reliability of Scriptures, Historical and Archaeological evidences will be concisely outlined. The student will receive primers in Relativism and Intelligent Design to work understanding into our relationship building. The course also will cover a variety of cults and errant church movements so that we might communicate to them effectively.

TH393 Attributes of God (2)  

An intensive study on the attributes of God. A look at His sovereignty, His holiness, His righteousness, His justness, His love, His grace and many others. The application in how we respond to these attributes will also be discussed.

TH395 Soteriology (2)  

Soteriology deals with the provision of salvation through Christ and the application of it through the Holy Spirit.  The purpose, plan, and method of God, and the person, nature, and work of Christ are studied.  The application of salvation through the work of the Holy Spirit and the great doctrines of salvation such as election, conversion, justification (being made right with God), regeneration (being born again), adoption, and other doctrines which relate to the Christian walk, such as sanctification, perseverance, and the means of grace are also considered.

TH417 Hermeneutics (2)

A hands on method for study of the Bible. The student will apply the observation, interpretation and application technique. Hermeneutic rules, equipping in the tools for enhanced study and addressing problem verses will be studied.
